AGMThe Club held their AGM as usual at the Bull sales, StewartStronach and Tom Bruce retired having served their term oncommittee along with Danny Leslie, retiring Chairperson. Onbehalf of the Club I would like to thank them for all they havedone.Nadia Gwynne was elected Chairperson with PatriciaGoldie elected to Vice Chairperson.Emma McAlister was elected to the Committee.OCTOBER BULL SALEJudging this sale was well known breeder, Mr NormanRobson, Kilbride Farm herd.The Stronach family repeated their success from theFebruary sale by topping the October sale with IslavaleIrish, by Curaheen Bandit, selling to Backmuir LivestockIslavale Irish 17 Rockytop Invader 17for 16,000gns.The next best price of 14,000gns was paid twice - first atthis price was Rockytop Invader, by Kilbride Farm Fearless,from Gary and Angela Christie, he sold to CameronMacIver.Selling at the same price was Saltire Impressive, byWoodhall Ferrari, from the Houlistons, North Berwick.13,000gns was paid for the Reserve Overall Championfrom the MacPhersons for Blackford Iolair.At 11,000gns was the Overall Champion DrumacrittenIan, from the Nelsons, and the Reserve Junior ChampionIslavale Imperial from the Stronachs.Other leading prices included 10,500gns for DrumsleedIceberg, from the Smith family.Selling for 10000gns to Pitgaveny Farms was ScotlandHill Invader, from Thomas Hill, Doncaster.SIMMENTAL REVIEW 2018REGIONAL CLUB REPORTSSaltire Impressive 17Blackford Iolair 17Drumacritten Ian 17 Islavale Imperial 17www.britishsimmental.co.uk 117
