AGM

The Club held their AGM as usual at the Bull sales, Stewart

Stronach and Tom Bruce retired having served their term on

committee along with Danny Leslie, retiring Chairperson. On

behalf of the Club I would like to thank them for all they have

done.

Nadia Gwynne was elected Chairperson with Patricia

Goldie elected to Vice Chairperson.

Emma McAlister was elected to the Committee.

OCTOBER BULL SALE

Judging this sale was well known breeder, Mr Norman

Robson, Kilbride Farm herd.

The Stronach family repeated their success from the

February sale by topping the October sale with Islavale

Irish, by Curaheen Bandit, selling to Backmuir Livestock

Islavale Irish 17 Rockytop Invader 17

for 16,000gns.

The next best price of 14,000gns was paid twice - first at

this price was Rockytop Invader, by Kilbride Farm Fearless,

from Gary and Angela Christie, he sold to Cameron

MacIver.

Selling at the same price was Saltire Impressive, by

Woodhall Ferrari, from the Houlistons, North Berwick.

13,000gns was paid for the Reserve Overall Champion

from the MacPhersons for Blackford Iolair.

At 11,000gns was the Overall Champion Drumacritten

Ian, from the Nelsons, and the Reserve Junior Champion

Islavale Imperial from the Stronachs.

Other leading prices included 10,500gns for Drumsleed

Iceberg, from the Smith family.

Selling for 10000gns to Pitgaveny Farms was Scotland

Hill Invader, from Thomas Hill, Doncaster.
