as the breeze, seemed <strong>to</strong> mesh against that <strong>of</strong> the Alley's.<br />

"Things in Sigil almost never speak the plain Chant," Morte grumbled.<br />

I concentrated on the strange voice composed <strong>of</strong> sounds around me.<br />

Somewhere, in the deepest recesses <strong>of</strong> my mind, there was a brief glimmer<br />

<strong>of</strong> recollection. I felt as though there was something vaguely familiar about<br />

throng surrounded me the Alley grew silent, and merely watched as they<br />
