Inclusion criteria: 3 to 6 weeks after first <strong>stroke</strong>. Ability to follow simple verbal instructions and cycle <strong>for</strong> ? 1<br />
minute at 20 Watt (at 50 revolution/minute)<br />
Interventions Intervention: regular rehabilitation plus cardiorespiratory <strong>training</strong>; 30 minutes per day, 3 days per week <strong>for</strong><br />
12 weeks. Cycle ergometry. After 12 weeks the experimental group is randomised to receive either feedback<br />
on how to continue <strong>training</strong> or no feedback<br />
Control: regular rehabilitation plus passive mobilisation<br />
Outcomes VO2 peak, strength, walking, activities of daily living, post-<strong>stroke</strong> fatigue, depression, lifestyle, cardiovascular<br />
