Presentation of the Company:
G.E.O. Transfert is the technology transfer group of the
University Bordeaux 1, linked to UMR CNRS 5805 EPOC
(Oceanic Environments and Palaeoenvironments). The
cell's vocation is to promote and develop the research
activities and laboratory competency of three teams:
� METHYS (Experimental Modelling and Remote
Sensing of Sedimentary Hydrodynamics);
� GEMA (Geochemistry and Ecotoxicology of Metals in
Aquatic systems);
� EcoBioc (Ecological Function and Biogeochemistry of
Coastal Systems)
The activity of G.E.O. Transfert is organized around three
complementary axes:
� Development and technological survey of monitoring
methods and instrumentation dedicated to
environmental monitoring
� Measurement, monitoring and expertise in water and
air quality;
� Database management, diffusion and promotion of
scientific information.
