BMT ARGOSS is a specialist provider and leading innovator in the field of marine
environmental information.
Using in-house resources and expertise on MetOcean conditions, ocean & atmospheric
modelling, meteorology, remote sensing and data assimilation we support numerous
offshore and near shore projects and operations by providing environmental hindcast
and forecast information. Services provided include persistency / workability analysis,
extreme value analysis for offshore structure design and coastal protection, extensive
environmental studies in support of coastal projects, for example LNG terminals.
BMT ARGOSS holds extensive databases with satellite observations of wind, waves
and tides
and runs state of the art numerical models providing high quality MetOcean and
atmospheric
information. When required we set up dedicated high resolution numerical models that
provide detailed information on the environmental conditions for a site of interest.
In addition to atmospheric and metocean services BMT ARGOSS is also experienced
in providing information based on satellite imagery. Information that can be provided
includes: Shallow water bathymetry and DEM data.
