Developement Projects:
GAST-1 and -2 (Airborne
Gravimetry as an alternative to
Terrestrial Gravimetry – phases
1 and 2, 2000-2004, 2006-
2007). GAST-1 was a project
for the Institute of Cartography
of Catalonia (ICC). Its goal is to
use high-end, navigation-grade
IMUs together with GNSS
receivers in order to determine
the anomalous gravity field.
While phase 1 of GAST
concentrates on the INS/GNSS
navigation algorithms, GAST-2
includes gravity modelling
states and geoid determination
modules.
Demonstration Projects:
MS-CAM, R+D in optical remote
sensing. Exploitation of digital
multispectral data for thematic
application. Internal IG project.
Feasibility Studies/Analysis:
TERRA, Airborne gravimetry in the
Andes. Funded by the Spanish
