Complementary products and services for the diagnosis of
industrial systems and machinery
S.A.T.E.’s entry into this sector began with its participation in the
European projects DIAMOND and MAGIC (in which the software
product GPMAS® was developed). These projects were the basis
of subsequent applications in the automotive field.
In the internal industrialisation programme referred to as SDT-
Automotive (S.A.T.E. Diagnostic Tools - Automotive), a combination
of software tools that contain diagnostic algorithms specially
conceived for the automotive sector, S.A.T.E., in collaboration with
external partners, realised its first integrated software/ hardware
product, the SEW-AID (S.A.T.E.-EDI-WEST Autonomous
Integrated Diagnostics). It is an electronic unit that can be
configured in either data acquisition or diagnostic mode, connected
with the on board car data network (CAN-BUS).
