Systems Engineering Services
Systems engineering services consist in all the activities of
consultancy, study and design with regard to mechanical,
underwater, marine and space systems for which design with a
strongly inter-disciplinary and inter-functional approach is normally
necessary.
Among the systems engineering consultancy work performed by
S.A.T.E we mention studies for the development of offshore
hydrocarbon fields, project management and design coordination
for an innovative water bus for Venice, study on rescue systems for
submarines in a state of emergency and basic design of a system
for surface material sampling in the Mars planet or comets
environments.
Machinery and plants simulation services
S.A.T.E. provides dynamic simulation services of the processes
and of the functioning and control of the machinery, which are
necessary to verify their design. Also, the intimate knowledge of the
behaviour of the systems studied by means of dynamic simulations
enables the company to be a reliable consultant for their design,
integration and commissioning.
S.A.T.E. supplies simulation services for large plant engineering
and contracting companies, constructors of high-powered
machinery for energy production (turbines), gas processing
(compressors) and liquid pumping (pumps) and for the automotive
sector.
Machinery and plants simulation products
This activity are complementary to the section above and is
conducted for customers that need ad hoc software products
instead of the mathematical modelling and calculation service.
S.A.T.E. has developed actual software products that can be
licensed for the non-exclusive use of its customers for the
simulation of various types of machinery; S.A.T.E. has developed a
large number of software tools for dynamic simulation of vehicle
systems (BENCH, DRIVE, CLUTCH, etc) and dynamic simulation
in the Gas Compression and Transport Industry, notably
ACUSYS and ACUSCOMP for acoustic pulsations in plants and
reciprocating compressors, and COMPSYS for gas compression
plants and their control systems.
