Presentation of the Company:
The Universities of Leicester and Nottingham, in
partnership with the East Midlands development Agency
(emda) have formed a partneship to stimulate innovation
and knowledge transfers to regional companies, especially
SME's. The objectives are to encourage and stimulate the
application of the Universities' space expertise within the
SME base in the UK regions using current space projects in
satellite navigation and earth observation
and complementary ground-based facilities. Opportunities
to extend these capabilities to new applications with GNSS
and GMES through FP7 are high priorities for the future.
