The Incubator Midi-Pyrénées supports innovative technological business
creations by providing them with to coaching, hosting and financing
support adapted to their needs.
Created in September 2000, within the framework of the call for tender of
the Ministry of Research and Technology (law on the Innovation of July
1999), the Incubator Midi-Pyrénées has the mission of creating value out
of public research, with the support of laboratories and universities.
The job of the Incubator Midi-Pyrénées is to support men and women in
the mutation of their project into a company, as well as in their own
personal change as entrepreneur. The will of the Incubator Midi-
Pyrénées is to offer a secure and reassuring environment to enable
entrepreneurs to take risks. The Incubator Midi-Pyrénées is an
environment of mutual trust and respect, where the team listens to
individuals’ needs and ensures satisfaction.
Key Products and Services
The Incubator Midi-Pyrénées is coordinating an Aerospace Valley
labelled project called NEOSTAR. Unique in France, the NEOSTAR
project is a business incubation support offer - including coaching and
hosting coupled with a dedicated financing tool - for innovative start-ups
developing satellite-based applications. The objective is to develop
business and jobs creation on the Aerospace Valley territory. NEOSTAR
is managed by a professional & experienced consortium of Aquitaine
and Midi-Pyrénées regions: Capital High Tech, ESTIA, Bordeaux
Technowest, and CEEI Theogone.
