Major references: In the field of marine environment Flyby is involved as service provider in the framework of the ESA and Italian Space Agency (ASI) program for oil spill detection in the Mediterranean Sea by means of satellite optical remote sensing techniques. Besides Flyby provides optical remote sensing based services to many corporate and organizations like the Italian Navy, ENI S.p.A , Coast Guards, for different applications ranging from coastal and maritime environmental impact assessment to coastal erosion monitoring. In the field of renewable energies, Flyby provides PV plant management services based on satellite observation, for efficiency monitoring to many <strong>European</strong> companies (e.g. ENEL S.p.A). The company is involved in different projects funded by the Italian Space Agency (ASI) and <strong>European</strong> Space Agency (ESA) related to remote sensing services mainly in the fields of marine and coastal environments and solar radiation analysis applications, exploiting multispectral satellite imaging sensors Key Products and Services The main technologies with a competitive advantage owned by the Company are: a) HappySun (registered trade mark) : EO satellite based UV solar photoprotection system The system delivers UV safe exposure personal information exploiting a web and mobile phone user interface that is cheaper, more accurate and easier to use of personal UV radiometers. b) SolarSAT (registered trade mark) : EO based photovoltaic solar energy plant efficiency control system The system (service) is able to evaluate the efficiency of the energy production of solar PV plants, without need of in-situ sensors.
