Experiments in GRID
The BEinGRID project aims at
practical cases to illustrate
the current potential of Grid
computing for changing the
way companies and
enterprises conduct business.
been selected among the
possible choices that could be
gridify - Service Application Architecture for e-
Science
gridify is an application integration environment that
enables the implementation and configuration of composite
services requiring the use of substantial computer and
data resources.
Coupled with a networks of computers, gridify provides
the flexibility for the integration of applications with data
work-flows, distributed data access, grid computing and
storage capability. With a common subset of well-known
standards for geographic metadata, gridify delivers a set of
services for indexing, searching, sharing and storing very
large spatial data sets. Together, it constitutes the core of
what is needed to participate in a spatial data
infrastructure.
