System D and System H<br />

Perform the following steps to configure System D and System H.<br />

1. Install <strong>WebSphere</strong> <strong>Application</strong> <strong>Server</strong> <strong>V7.0</strong>.<br />

2. Create an application server profile using the<br />

/profileTemplates/dmgr profile template, or use the<br />

/profileTemplates/management template and specify<br />

-serverType as DEPLOYMENT_MANAGER.<br />

3. Use wsadmin in the binary subdirectory of the deployment manager profile<br />

directory and register the deployment manager with the job manager by<br />

running the AdminTask.registerWithJobManager task.<br />

Systems E, F, G, I, J, and K<br />

Perform the following steps to configure Systems E, F, G, I, J, and K.<br />

1. Install <strong>WebSphere</strong> <strong>Application</strong> <strong>Server</strong> <strong>V7.0</strong>.<br />

2. Create an application server profile using the<br />

/profileTemplates/managed profile template. Federate this<br />

profile to the proper deployment manager either during profile creation or by<br />

running the addNode command after the profile creation.<br />

Alternatively, you can create an application server profile using the<br />

/profileTemplates/default profile template and federate the<br />

node to the proper deployment manager by using the addNode command.<br />
