► In order to show the new security domains feature, a security domain for the<br />

application servers has been created and configured with a different user<br />

realm. The administrative application uses global security settings based on a<br />

file registry. The BeenThere application uses the operating system registry.<br />

Figure A-3 shows the security configuration.<br />

► A job manager has also been installed to test the capabilities of this new<br />

component in our topology.<br />

► Only one Load Balancer has been installed. This constitutes a single point of<br />

failure, but one Load Balancer is enough to demonstrate its high availability<br />

capabilities.<br />

► No DB2 servers have been installed because the BeenThere application does<br />

not need an external data repository.<br />
