The <strong>WebSphere</strong> <strong>Application</strong> <strong>Server</strong> package is the next level of server<br />

infrastructure in the <strong>WebSphere</strong> <strong>Application</strong> <strong>Server</strong> family. Although the<br />

<strong>WebSphere</strong> <strong>Application</strong> <strong>Server</strong> package is functionally equivalent to Express<br />

(single-server environment), this package differs in packaging and licensing. It is<br />

available for both 32-bit and 64-bit platforms. This package is ideal for lightweight<br />

application solutions where cost and simplicity are key. This package is also<br />

referred to as the <strong>WebSphere</strong> <strong>Application</strong> <strong>Server</strong> <strong>V7.0</strong> Base package.<br />

development use only.<br />

<strong>WebSphere</strong> <strong>Application</strong> <strong>Server</strong> for Developers is an easy-to-use development<br />

environment to build and test applications for your SOA.<br />

1.3.4 <strong>WebSphere</strong> <strong>Application</strong> <strong>Server</strong> Network Deployment <strong>V7.0</strong><br />

<strong>WebSphere</strong> <strong>Application</strong> <strong>Server</strong> Network Deployment (ND) provides the<br />

capabilities to develop more enhanced server infrastructures. It extends the<br />

<strong>WebSphere</strong> <strong>Application</strong> <strong>Server</strong> base package and includes the following<br />
