Chapter 13. WebSphere Application Server Feature Packs 13 A WebSphere Application Server Feature Pack is an optionally installable product extension for WebSphere Application Server that provides a set of new related standards and innovative features. With feature packs, users can take advantage of these new standards and features without having to wait for a new release of WebSphere Application Server. This chapter describes the feature packs currently available for WebSphere Application Server V7.0 and discusses the important aspects to be considered for a successful implementation.
