14.4.2 Installation considerations<br />

The contents of SBBOLOAD, SBBGLOAD, SBBOLPA, and SBBOLD2 will be<br />

moved to the HFS or zFS, as shown in Figure 14-6. Those modules that have to<br />

be in Link Pack Area (LPA) are placed there by <strong>WebSphere</strong> <strong>Application</strong> <strong>Server</strong><br />

for z/OS using directed-load and dynamic LPA services.<br />

In addition, scripts are provided to help extract the load modules into a data set<br />

for those customers wishing to place the native runtime in the LPA.<br />

Keeping the modules in the HFS is equivalent to STEPLIBing in the server<br />

PROCs today.<br />
