The following examples outline the process required to create each sample<br />

topology.<br />

Note: Each example assumes that only the <strong>WebSphere</strong> processes shown in<br />

the diagrams are installed on each system and that the profile for the process<br />

is the default profile.<br />

This is not a substitute for using the product documentation. It is intended to help<br />

you understand the process. For detailed information about how the Plug-ins<br />

Installation Wizard works, see the Install Guide, which can be found on the<br />

Supplements media of the <strong>WebSphere</strong> <strong>Application</strong> <strong>Server</strong> <strong>V7.0</strong> in the<br />

plugin\docs directory.<br />

During the plug-in installation, you are asked if the installation is local or remote.<br />

Depending on the response, a certain path through the installation will occur.<br />

Figure 6-1 on page 189 illustrates the plug-in installer behavior in more detail.<br />

Note: When installing the <strong>IBM</strong> HTTP <strong>Server</strong> shipped with <strong>WebSphere</strong><br />

<strong>Application</strong> <strong>Server</strong>, you now have the option to install the Web server plug-in<br />

at the same time. If you choose this option, you will automatically get a remote<br />

installation.<br />

The location for the plug-in configuration file is /Plugins/config/.<br />

The location for the plug-in configuration script is /Plugins/bin.<br />
