system still responded to our requests, which were all processed by<br />

w2.itso.ral.ibm.com (Figure A-7).<br />

Our purpose was to test some of the features provided by the new job manager<br />

component.<br />

Because we needed to stop the applications servers running on<br />

w1.itso.ral.ibm.com for the last scenario of the previous section of this appendix,<br />

we used the functionality provided by the job manager.<br />
