Innovation is one SKEMA’s DNA components. Therefore this course is designed to make the MSCIB students<br />
over the world aware of this key competitive dimension for companies and nations. If the general purpose of<br />
the course it to present the ecosystem of innovation, the content of the course is adapted to the regional<br />
context. In Sophia Antipolis, the course will stress in particular a method of marketing of innovation (ISMA<br />
360°) which takes into account the ecosystem of innovation. In Lille, the focus is on the French and North<br />
European Innovation context. In the Suzhou and Raleigh campuses the focus is respectively on the Chinese<br />
and the US contexts.<br />
• Knowledge and Understanding (subject specific) The student is expected to :<br />
• Understand the role of innovation in a knowledge economy,<br />
• Understand the specificities of the ecosystem innovation of the region where his campus is<br />
located<br />
• Understand that the innovators/entrepreneurs are not lonely actors but actors of complex<br />
