E DVD/DVR control buttons<br />
When in the DVD/DVR mode, the buttons on the<br />
remote control unit function as below.<br />
1 0–9<br />
Function as the numeric buttons.<br />
2 Pk/l (DVD/HDD recorder (DVR) only)<br />
Press to change the channel of the tuner built in the<br />
DVD/HDD recorder (DVR).<br />
3 ENTER<br />
Press to activate the selected function.<br />
a/b/c/d<br />
Press to select items on the DVD menu screen.<br />
4 MENU<br />
Press to display the DVD menu.<br />
5 l (PAUSE/STILL)<br />
Set pauses and still pictures.<br />
6 p (REC) (DVD/HDD recorder (DVR) only)<br />
Start recording.<br />
7 TOOLS (<strong>Pioneer</strong> BD player only)<br />
Press to display the “TOOLS” menu.<br />
8 SOURCE a<br />
Turn on and off the power of the DVD player or DVD/HDD<br />
recorder (DVR).<br />
9 DVD TOP MENU<br />
When this button is pressed, the DVD top menu will<br />
appear.<br />
0 RETURN<br />
When the DVD menu is in display, press to restore the<br />
immediately previous screen.<br />
Q j (CHAPTER SEARCH)<br />
Each time you press, you move back to the start of the<br />
previous chapter.<br />
W k (CHAPTER SEARCH)<br />
Each time you press, you move ahead to the start of the<br />
next chapter.<br />
E m (SCAN)<br />
Press to go backward.<br />
n (PLAY)<br />
Start playback.<br />
o (SCAN)<br />
Press for fast forward.<br />
R r (STOP)<br />
Press to stop playback or recording. With some DVD<br />
players or DVD/HDD recorders (DVRs), pressing the<br />
button twice may open the disc tray.<br />
REC STOP (DVD/HDD recorder (DVR) only)<br />
Press p and r at the same time to stop recording. This<br />
operation is available for only <strong>Pioneer</strong> and Sony DVD/<br />
HDD recorders (DVRs).<br />
T HDD (DVD/HDD recorder (DVR) only)<br />
Press to select the hard disk (HDD) for playback or<br />
recording.<br />
Y DVD (DVD/HDD recorder (DVR) only)<br />
Press to select the DVD for playback or recording.<br />
NOTE<br />
• You can control a BD player in the DVD/DVR mode.<br />
• The DVD player, DVD/HDD recorder (DVR) or BD<br />
player cannot be selected at the same time.<br />
