This volume is the synthesis of the twenty years work of the well-known journalist and political
analyst of the Hungarian political left, László Kéri. The presentation is done in a synthetic manner,
starting with the fall of Communism in Hungary and ending with the victory of the Fidesz party at the
2010 Parliamentary Elections. The text of the synthesis is completed by photographic illustrations.

Prezentul volum reprezintă o sinteză a activităţii de peste 20 de ani a cunoscutului jurnalist şi
analist politic al stângii politice maghiare, László Kéri. Prezentarea se face într-un mod sintetic,
prin însumarea evenimentelor principale, începând cu căderea comunismului, până la momentul
alegerilor din 2010. Textul este completat cu multe ilustraţii fotografi ce.

A „profi” történész általában óvakodik a közelmúlt eseményeiről írni,
még akkor is, ha érdeklődik irántuk, hiszen szakmája metodológiai elvárásait
ismerve attól tart, hogy – mivel nem állhat rendelkezésére minden
részinformáció – nemcsak torz, de a közeljövőben könnyen meg is cáfolható
képet tár az olvasó elé. Az újságíró és a politológus azonban kimondottan
a még „friss” eseményeket hivatott bemutatni, kommentálni, elemezni.
Utóbbiak azonban – ez pedig a kortárs magyarországi közéletre hatványozott
arányban jellemző – ritkán törekednek objektív diskurzusra.
