Summary
Vakhtang Beselia is one of the prominent representatives in Modern
Georgian painting. His creative activity dates back from the beginning of
1970-s, when in Fine Arts there was developing an intensive process of
individual thinking of plastic interpretation of artistic shape and space,
compositional structure of a picture, pure pictorial, picturesque rudiments.
The art of Vakhtang Beselia is intellectual, inspired with an evident
primate of spirited rudiments. It is characterized with laconic speech,
harmony of form and content, unity of painting and plasticity, which
testifies the unity of the artistic outlook and possibilities of the master.
