Influence of Existentialism on Cinematography
Summary
Philosophy has influenced the formation of the and essence of art. In the 20 th
century Existentialism became a driving philosophic stream which aimed at clarifying
the attitude with God. This factor resulted in the formation of two major trends within
the stream: religious and atheistic. The nature of the 20 th century art cinematography
as well is determined by this philosophic doctrine.
