The chapter on Lithuania was revised by Mihai Mitu, who harbours a constant interest for this project ever since he workedtogether with Virgil Cândea. Vlad Alexandrescu, Romanian Ambassador toLuxemburg, kindly revised the chapter that refers to this country, providingimportant additional data. We received useful improvements for the chapteron India from Liviu Bordaş, writing to us from Calcutta. Iolanda Costide,Custodian of the Paul Neagu Estate (UK), provided us with precise data onthe location of several works by the Romanian sculptor, in various cities ofGreat Britain.Iuliana Deac achieved, with the same competence and care, the basictechnical edition and technical revision of the entire volume. To all the above-mentioned colleagues and foreign team members,we express our deep gratitude for their diligent work, and the solidaritythat they show by constantly accompanying us on this hard, but gratifyingroad. We thank Gabriela Dumitrescu and Claudia Nichita (who is thecustodian of the „Virgil Cândea” Reading Room at the Library of theRomanian Academy) for helping us elucidate imprecise data in certainnotes.Again, our gratitude goes in particular to Mr. Florin Rotaru, GeneralDirector of the „Mihail Sadoveanu” Metropolitan Library of Bucharest, who keeps supporting us, steadily and unconditionally, in our effort aimedat shedding more light on the Romanian heritage abroad.Ioana Feodorov
