May 2016
Toyota Motor Vietnam
(TMV) has officially
announced that, the
total sales volume of
Toyota vehicles reached
4,277 units in May 2016,
increased by 10% (about
397 units) in comparing
to the same period last
year. In which, the North
consumed 1,806 units
(42%), the South consumed
1,929 units (45%), and
Central Vietnam consumed
542 units (13%). In May
2016, Lexus Vietnam
achieved highest sales
in 5 months of 2016
with total 269 Lexus
automobiles delivered to
customers, a 136% from
the same period last year
and up 77% from April
2016. A big contribution
to this is the launching
of the RX model at the
beginning of this year and
the premium urban sport
gear NX200t after 1 year
of launching. Therefore,
Lexus' accumulated sales in
the first 5 months in 2016
in Vietnam reached 929
car units, up 92% from the
same period in 2015. For

Turkish Airlines Inaugurates Its First Flight To Hanoi
As Europe's best airline for five consecutive years, Turkish Airlines has officially launched its new direct flights from Istanbul to Hanoi. Since June 27 th
2016, Hanoi has been the second destination in Vietnam to be directly connected with Istanbul by Turkish Airlines. Hanoi flights will operate 5 times
weekly using the 288-seat Airbus A330-300 aircrafts which are primarily used on international routes with full modern in-flight entertainment activities
and connectivity. Flights to Istanbul take about 15 hours from Hanoi and 12 hours from Ho Chi Minh City. In addition, flight frequency will be increased
to 7 flights per week as of October 31 st , 2016. Round-trip ticket prices start at USD865 including tax, terminal fees and other surcharges.
