TRAVELLIVE 07-2016
My grandfather often took me to school in the mornings when I was a little girl. We usually left earlier and stopped by a bakery near my school. He ordered cakes and milk for me while choosing a cup of black coffee with filter for him. When eating my food, I loved counting the drops of coffee falling down through the filter, wondering how they tasted. Once, when my grandfather was buying a magazine, I surreptitiously dipped a finger in the cup of coffee. Bitter! It was the first time I tasted it and couldn’t understand why the drink that many adults love was so bitter. That time I felt like I would never like coffee.

THE CITY OF HILLS
Few people know that this famous American city is located on 43 hills,
only seven of which are natural. With a slope of 41%, Bradford is the
city’s steepest street. So it’s easy to understand why athletic shoes are
among the most favored and best selling products here. My friends often
joke that San Francisco is like an outdoor gym. Wear your shoes and
walk. What a great exercise!
I have never been pleased with traffic jams, but being stuck in San
Francisco is an interesting experience. The surroundings are so amazing
that I want to spend more time attending to the simple things on
roadside which we always miss when in a rush. The most memorable
thing is getting stuck on a 30% slope.. Your car can roll back at anytime.
The endless roads soar up to sky while cars roll slowly in a line like little
ants going to their nest.
