turbofan engines. On the other hand, the Ce-Liner‘s airframe requires more maintenance due to the higher aircraft weight.<br />
Higher crew cost (Short-haul, full-service carrier payment level)<br />
As crews receive payments in regard to weight of operated aircraft (larger/heavier aircraft = more responsibility = higher wages),<br />
the comparably heavy Ce-Liner would have disadvantages in terms of crew cost.<br />
