The features of this system are:<br />
the heart of the system is the multi-level storage tank. Its good stratification is therefore of<br />
primary importance.<br />
the condenser of the HP is placed directly in the storage tank, improving heat transfers<br />
solar collectors (often bigger field then usually) take the leading role in the system, the heat<br />
pump acts as a back up system<br />
there is no active support for the regeneration of the gro<strong>und</strong> heat source and no solar boosting<br />
of the heat source of the heat pump<br />
the combination is similar to the system 1 but integrated in a main buffer storage (it is a solar<br />
combisystem approach with a back up)<br />
preparation of DHW can be arranged with an external heat exchanger if it is better than a tank<br />
in tank solution (not yet demonstrated)
