A target shall return this extended status when there are no consumers configured<br />

<strong>for</strong> a producing application to use.<br />

This extended status code is returned when the originator application does not<br />

have valid data to produce <strong>for</strong> the requested connection. Only the originator side<br />

of connection shall indicate this extended status code.<br />

0x01 0x0812 NODE ADDRESS HAS CHANGED SINCE THE NETWORK WAS SCHEDULED<br />

A router on a scheduled network (e.g.: ControlNet) has a different node address<br />

than the value configured in the connection originator.<br />

0x01 0x0813 NOT CONFIGURED FOR OFF-SUBNET MULTICAST<br />

A multicast connection has been requested between a producer and a consumer<br />

that are on different subnets, and the producer is not configured <strong>for</strong> off-subnet<br />

multicast.<br />

0x01 0x0814 INVALID PRODUCE/CONSUME DATA FORMAT<br />

In<strong>for</strong>mation in the data segment indicates that the <strong>for</strong>mat of the produced and/or<br />

consumed data is not valid.<br />

This general status code shall be returned when there is an error in the data<br />

segment of a <strong>for</strong>ward open.<br />

The Extended Status shall be the index to where the error was encountered in the<br />

Data Segment (Reference section C-1.4.5 — DATA SEGMENT).<br />

0x0C Optional OBJECT STATE ERROR<br />

This general status code shall be returned when the state of the target object of<br />

the connection prevents the service request from being handled. The Extended<br />

Status reports the object’s present state. The extended status is optional.<br />

For example, a target (application) object of the connection may need to be in an<br />

edit mode be<strong>for</strong>e attributes can be set. This is different from a service being<br />

rejected due to the state of the device.<br />
