5 Diagnosis<br />
5.1 Overview Diagnosis<br />
The dialog Diagnosis serves to Diagnosis the device behavior and<br />
communication errors. For diagnosis the device must reside in online state.<br />
The Extended Diagnosis helps to find communication and configuration<br />
errors, when default diagnosis fails.<br />
For further in<strong>for</strong>mation to the Extended Diagnosis refer to section<br />
Overview Extended Diagnosis on page 64.<br />

requires an online connection from the <strong>EtherNet</strong>/<strong>IP</strong> <strong>Scanner</strong> <strong>DTM</strong> to the<br />
<strong>EtherNet</strong>/<strong>IP</strong> <strong>Scanner</strong> device.<br />
