3.2.3 cifX Device Driver<br />
In the <strong>EtherNet</strong>/<strong>IP</strong> <strong>Scanner</strong> <strong>DTM</strong> <strong>for</strong> the cifX Device Driver no driver dialog<br />
pane is available, since <strong>for</strong> the cifX Device Driver no driver settings are<br />
required.<br />
The cifX Device Driver is used, if the <strong>EtherNet</strong>/<strong>IP</strong> <strong>Scanner</strong> <strong>DTM</strong> is<br />
installed in the same PC as the <strong>EtherNet</strong>/<strong>IP</strong> <strong>Scanner</strong> device.<br />
Note: To establish a connection from a <strong>DTM</strong> to a <strong>Scanner</strong> device via the<br />
cifX Device Driver, the cifX Device Driver must be installed and the<br />
driver must have access to the <strong>Scanner</strong> device.<br />
