7.3 IO Monitor<br />

The IO Monitor serves <strong>for</strong> test and diagnosis purposes. It provides to view<br />

data of the process data image and to change output data easily. The<br />

display is always in a Byte manner.<br />

Note: Only change and write output data, if you know that no plant<br />

disturbances are caused by this. All output data written by the IO Monitor<br />

are transmitted at the bus and have effect on subordinate drives, IO etc.<br />

Columns switches the number of columns.<br />

Display Mode switches the representation of the input and output data<br />

between decimal and hexadecimal.<br />

Offset / Go moves the indication of the data to the entered offset value.<br />

Clear clears displayed error messages.<br />

Enter the output value and select Update.<br />

Always the data of the process image are displayed, also when these<br />

Bytes have not been reserved by the configuration.<br />
