An interrogative sense is given by <strong>the</strong> inseparable suffix<br />

kah, applied ei<strong>the</strong>r to <strong>the</strong> verb itself, or to any o<strong>the</strong>r woi'd<br />

in <strong>the</strong> same sentence <strong>with</strong> it. Lihatlah ^mbakah alah ulihna,<br />

atawah iyalah alah ulili amba ; see, whe<strong>the</strong>r am I conquered by<br />

him, or he conquered by me.<br />
