It is the second-mostimportant centre of the United Nations after New York, and its surface size is similar to the Palais de Versailles. Its Assembly Room, which seats 2,000, is as large as the Paris Opera House. All in all it’s a good place to go for a wander to discover the world of this international organisation. ESCAPE Lutry is a picturesque, small medieval town on the lakeside just east of Lausanne. Take a stroll and admire the beautiful views of the Alps before stopping at the busy Saturday morning market, where stylish locals stock up for the weekend on fresh produce.
