to be Marrakech.
At the heart
of the Medina
is the ancient
marketplace,
Djemaa el Fna,
which is full of
sights, sounds
and smells that
you don’t fi nd
anywhere else
in the world.

WOULD GO TO
BERLIN
I prefer city breaks
– I’m not one of
those people who
can sit in the sun
all day. Berlin
appeals to me
because it has
such an interesting
history. I’d go to
the Brandenburg
Gate and see the
remains of the
Berlin Wall there,
to see how big it
actually was. And
I hear that Berlin
has amazing
nightlife – I want to
experience that.

NICE
Nice is the perfect
destination for
me – in winter
you can be in the
snowy mountains
within an hour,
and in summer
you don’t have to
move from the
city and its lovely
beaches. And then
there’s the food
– it’s the perfect
combination of
Italian and French
cuisines, and
always delicious.

I fi rst visited
London with work,
but I’ve been back
many times just for
pleasure. After all, I
didn’t have enough
time to do all the
shopping I wanted
in the few hours
away from the
airport when
I was working! It’s
just an amazing
city, with so many
interesting things
to see and do. You
can go for the
shopping, but also
enjoy the rest of it.

A great place I have
visited as crew
is Copenhagen. I
think it’s probably
Scandinavia’s most
alluring city, thanks
to its incredible
architecture and
that fantastic mix
of old and new.
Combine that
with all the lovely
boutiques and the
tranquillity of the
waterfront, and
you have a worldclass
city.
