South Petherton, Somerset. Type species of the genus Amaltheus Montfort,

(1933, pi. xxxi, fig. 3). The holotype is lost. Type species of the genus
Prodactylioceras Spath, 1923. (Synonym Paralytoceras Frebold, 1922, non
