Once modified, the new ACAD. MNU must be compiled. This is automatically<br />

done if the old ACAD. MNX (compiled version of ACAD. MNU) file is deleted.<br />

The following files are necessary to run the program:<br />

f LOADWM. LSP: This file is used to load the program.<br />

f LOADWSET. LSP: This file contains the routine called by selecting<br />

"Setup" and "Welding" in the pull down menu (see Figure Cl). This<br />

routine loads the SGASWIRE. LSP file to display the window shown in<br />

Figure C. 2.<br />

f SGASWIRE. LSP: This file contains the routine used to show the<br />

coefficients file selection window (see Figure C. 2) and to set the<br />

"GASWIRE" global variable (see Appendix A).<br />

f READCOEF. LSP: This file contains the function used to read the<br />

coefficients from the corresponding file, selected through the window<br />

shown in Figure C. 2.<br />

f MODELCFT. DCL: This file contains the definition of the fields which<br />

compose the window shown in Figure C. 2.<br />

f WMODINT. LSP: This file contains the routines that produce the user<br />

interface of the welding parameters generator.<br />

f WMODINT. DCL: This file contains the definition of the windows that are<br />

shown in the user interface of the welding parameters generator.<br />

f WMODELS. LSP: This file contains the welding models and the<br />

optimisation routine used.<br />

f FILLET. SLD, BUTT. SLD, LAP. SLD: These files contain the slides of the<br />

three different types of joint, with the variables that are requested by the<br />

program shown explicitly on the drawings. The corresponding drawing files<br />

(fillet. dwg, butt. dwg and lap. dwg) are not needed but are also available.<br />

f WELDPROC. LSP: This file contains the routine used to output the list of<br />

possible welding parameters generated by the program for a specific weld.<br />

f TEACH. LSP: This file is used by the pull down menu selection "Output" +<br />

"Teach Robot" (see Figure C. 1) to load the off-line programming routines,<br />

stored in the file OFFLINE. LSP.<br />

f OFFLINE. LSP: This file contains the routines used to generate the robot<br />

program and the teach points file.<br />

f ROBSET. LSP: This file contains the routine used to show the Robot Set-<br />

up window (see Figure C. 8).<br />

f ROBSET. DCL: This file contains the description of the fields which<br />

compose the window shown in Figure C. 8.<br />

f AR5MST10. FIL: Coefficients file for fillet joints obtained by Ogunbiyi [ref<br />

51] for the Migatronic BDH320 welding power source.<br />

f AR5MSIOA. FIL: Coefficients file for fillet joints obtained in this work for<br />

the Migatronic BDH550 welding power source.<br />

f ROBOTYPE. DAT: This file contains a list of the robots implemented in<br />

the off-line programming software (in this work, only the ABB IRB2000<br />

was implemented).<br />
