(6) Lap Swimming. CONTRACTOR shall provide the following amount<br />
<strong>of</strong> lap swimming lanes and times. Lap swim must reflect a mix <strong>of</strong> short course (25-<br />
yard) and long course (50-meter) scheduling. These times and lane numbers must<br />
be maintained for unstructured adult lap swimmers and may not be used for other<br />
programs or activities such as Masters Swimming, instructional lessons, coaching,<br />
etc. Additional lanes may be designated for lap swimming at the CONTRACTOR’s<br />
discretion, based upon observed need.<br />

Monday – Friday<br />
6:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. Minimum <strong>of</strong> 4 lanes (Could<br />
be 50-meter lanes)<br />
11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Minimum <strong>of</strong> 4 lanes<br />
6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Minimum <strong>of</strong> 6 lanes<br />
Saturday and Sunday Minimum <strong>of</strong> 6 lanes mid-August through<br />
8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. April and 8 lanes May to mid-August<br />
(7) Scheduling. The public swim program schedule will be reviewed<br />
on a regular basis and may, upon mutual agreement between CITY and<br />
CONTRACTOR, be revised. CONTRACTOR is required to meet with CITY a<br />
minimum <strong>of</strong> once per year to review planned programs and proposed fees.<br />
(8) Equipment and Teaching Aids. CONTRACTOR shall provide at<br />
CONTRACTOR’s sole cost and responsibility such equipment and teaching aids<br />
(kickboards, floatation devices, etc.) which CONTRACTOR deems necessary to<br />
meet program needs.<br />
B. In connection with the foregoing operations, CONTRACTOR shall, at<br />
CONTRACTOR’s sole cost and responsibility, select, employ, supervise, and<br />
assume responsibility for such CONTRACTOR’s employees as deemed necessary;<br />
provided, however, that:<br />
(1) Within ten (10) days following receipt <strong>of</strong> written notice from CITY<br />
that a particular employee <strong>of</strong> CONTRACTOR is not satisfactory to CITY for good<br />
cause, CONTRACTOR shall dismiss that employee forthwith; and<br />
