Brushes: You'll of course need<br />

some brushes to paint on the opaque.<br />

Any ordinary watercolor brushes will<br />

work, but a relatively fine tip is<br />

• Procedures<br />

/. Place the negative in the enlarger<br />

and prepare to make an enlargement<br />

measuring 2 '/>" X P/," (the<br />

size of a 120 roll-film negative).<br />

Be sure that your enlarger can accommodate<br />

a negative of this<br />

size. If not, then use whatever size<br />

you can. If 35mm is your only<br />

option, then simply contact print<br />

the negative onto the lith film.<br />

You may then contact print one<br />

lith film onto another . . . producing<br />

a final negative that is still<br />

35mm.<br />

If, on the other hand, your enlarger<br />

can accommodate a negative<br />

larger than the 120 size, then<br />

use the largest size you can. Using<br />

piece of lith film on the easel.<br />

about three pieces. Use these for<br />
