Topography.<br />

Cornwall, the extreme south-western county of Engl<strong>and</strong>, terminates in tlie<br />

rocky promontories of L<strong>and</strong>'s End <strong>and</strong> Lizard Point. <strong>The</strong> greater portion of <strong>its</strong><br />

area is occupied by wild <strong>and</strong> barren moorl<strong>and</strong>s, surmounted by bosses of granite<br />
