Safety Equipment/Work Shoes<br />

Dog Law Enforcement Wardens (74520) and Weights Measures Inspector (70420) in the<br />

Department of Agriculture who have been in active pay status at least 200 aggregate working days<br />

will be reimbursed up to $75.00, upon presenting a receipt, for one pair of safety/work shoes.<br />

Payment will be on an annual basis as of July 1 of each year.<br />

Job Assignments<br />

The Employer shall give consideration to territory assignments on the basis of seniority<br />

where such assignments do not adversely impact on the Employer's right to maintain efficient<br />

operations. The Employer further agrees to Meet and Discuss upon request of the Union on the<br />

impact of territorial redistribution or adjustments prior to implementation.<br />

Uniform Allowance<br />

a. Employees in the following classifications will receive an annual uniform<br />

allowance of $100.00.<br />

70570 Revenue Enforcement Agent Trainee<br />

70580 Revenue Enforcement Agent<br />

74240 Airport Fireman<br />

74<strong>28</strong>0 Airport Fireman Shift Leader<br />

76103 Fire Academy Instructor<br />

70751 Motor Carrier Enforcement Officer<br />

G5410 Public Utility Enforcement Officer<br />

71040 Driver License Examiner<br />

b. The allowance provided for in (a) above will be payable no later than September 30<br />

of each contract year. If an employee has been in active pay status for an aggregate<br />

of less than 200 working days during the preceding contract year, the allowance<br />

will be prorated. For the purpose of this section, active pay status shall be defined<br />

as the items listed in Section 2 of Article 20.<br />

c. Dog Law Enforcement Wardens (74520) will receive the uniform allowance under<br />

the side letter between the parties dated July 1, 1994 with the exception that the<br />

allowance will be paid on a fiscal year basis instead of a calendar year basis.<br />

Notification of Vacancies<br />

The Employer agrees to send vacancy notices to the homes of any employee in this unit<br />

who has seniority rights to a position as outlined in Article 29, Sections 5 and 6 and Management<br />

Directive 515.4 provided they do not regularly report to an office at least once per week. The<br />

Employer also agrees to send a copy of the vacancy posting to the local Union President provided<br />

the Union has provided the name and address of the Local Presidents and geographic areas covered<br />

to the Office of Administration, Bureau of Labor Relations. The name of the person selected to fill<br />
