Introduction
This Problem Determination and Service Guide contains information to help you solve
problems that might occur in your ES7000 Model 7600R G2 server. It describes the
diagnostic tools that come with the server, error codes and suggested actions, and
instructions for replacing failing components.
Replaceable components are of two types:
• Customer replaceable unit (CRU): Replacement of CRUs is your responsibility. If
Unisys installs a CRU at your request without a service contract, you will be charged
for the installation.
• Field replaceable unit (FRU):FRUs are replaced by Unisys. FRUs must be
installed only by trained service technicians.
For information about the terms of the warranty, see the warranty information that is
detailed in the Unisys contract.
For information about getting service and assistance, see Appendix A, Services and
Support.

This printed document contains instructions for installing the server in a rack.

This document is in PDF on the Documentation CD. It contains translated caution and
danger statements. Each caution and danger statement that appears in the
documentation has a number that you can use to locate the corresponding statement
in your language in the Safety Information document.
