General problems<br />

1. Make sure the embedded hypervisor device is selected in the<br />

boot menu (in the Setup utility <strong>and</strong> in Select Boot Device).<br />

2. If the embedded hypervisor is on an internal flash memory<br />

device, make sure that the internal flash memory device is<br />

seated in the connector correctly (see Removing the internal<br />

flash memory <strong>and</strong> Replacing the internal flash memory).<br />

3. See the documentation that comes with the embedded<br />

hypervisor for setup <strong>and</strong> configuration information.<br />

4. Make sure that other software works on the server.<br />

• Follow the suggested actions in the order in which they are listed in the Action column<br />

until the problem is solved.<br />

• See Table 5–1 to determine which components are customer replaceable units (CRU)<br />

<strong>and</strong> which components are field replaceable units (FRU).<br />
