3. COMMENT on the Demonstration:<br />
a. Ask the volunteer: Do you think your<br />
instruction would have been better if you<br />
had had more time to plan?<br />
b. Ask the group to comment on the derfion-<br />
straticns.<br />
IVOTE: Don'l expect the comments to be par-<br />
ticulrtrly helpjul jor your purpose.<br />
c. Ering out the discrepancies, errors, and<br />
omissions you have observed which they<br />
missed.<br />
- Point out that the job was "-too big"<br />
for one unit, if such was the case.<br />
- Bring out any trade or technical terms<br />
that were used, but not explained.<br />
- Point out lack of orderly presentation.<br />
- ASK THE "LEARNER" QUESTIONS ON POINTS<br />
THAT WERE NOT MADE CLEAR BY THE IN-<br />
STRUCTOR.<br />
d. Explain agein that the volunteer was gocd<br />
enough to "give us a picture of how we<br />
really instruct on the j ob. " Explain that<br />
he knew your purpose in advance, and that<br />
your comments were SOLELY to bring out<br />
the PROELEMS and FAULTS in icstruction.<br />
They were NOT directed at the vol-unteer<br />
personally. THANK him for his help.<br />
