111. Explain Practice <strong>Instruction</strong>.<br />
1. Announce:<br />
- Everyone should put on his "thick skins'<br />
because everyone is going to "dohis stuff"<br />
before the group and invite criticisms and<br />
suggestions.<br />
2. It is a real advantage to each member to<br />
get the benefit of others' comments, in a<br />
thoroughly FRIENDLY and HELPFUL atmosphere.<br />
3. Explain how demonstrations and comments w ill<br />
be made.<br />
- Refer to "How to Instruct" cards.<br />
- Explain that members are now expected to<br />
follow the WHOLE PLAN-the FOUR GET-READY<br />
points, as well as the FOUR BASIC instruc-<br />
tion steps.<br />
- Explain that you would like to look over<br />
each member's job breakdown sheet while<br />
he is instructing, just to see if he has<br />
"caught the knack" of breaking down a<br />
j 05-that you will return the sheets after<br />
each demoristretion.<br />
- Ask eachmember to get his tools, supplies,<br />
and work place arracged just as he wants,<br />
and that after the instruction starts, any<br />
errors or "fumbles1' will be commented<br />
upon.<br />
- Each member should describe the SHOP<br />
setting of his job before he starts,<br />
i. e. -<br />
- Whetherhe is foreman, leadman, or what.<br />
