111. Explain Practice Instruction.
1. Announce:
- Everyone should put on his "thick skins'
because everyone is going to "dohis stuff"
before the group and invite criticisms and
suggestions.
2. It is a real advantage to each member to
get the benefit of others' comments, in a
thoroughly FRIENDLY and HELPFUL atmosphere.
3. Explain how demonstrations and comments w ill
be made.
- Refer to "How to Instruct" cards.
- Explain that members are now expected to
follow the WHOLE PLAN-the FOUR GET-READY
points, as well as the FOUR BASIC instruc-
tion steps.
- Explain that you would like to look over
each member's job breakdown sheet while
he is instructing, just to see if he has
"caught the knack" of breaking down a
j 05-that you will return the sheets after
each demoristretion.
- Ask eachmember to get his tools, supplies,
and work place arracged just as he wants,
and that after the instruction starts, any
errors or "fumbles1' will be commented
upon.
- Each member should describe the SHOP
setting of his job before he starts,
i. e. -
- Whetherhe is foreman, leadman, or what.
