This case provides the report of a BA in a dog due to a bite wound that was
successfully treated solely with medical management. It is invaluable to provide an
early and accurate diagnosis and initiate an appropriate treatment plan. With a wellconsidered
selection of antibiotics and adjunctive medications, we were able to
achieve a successful outcome in this BA case.
