3.8 Priority items for<br />
implementation<br />
In addition to the statutory planning requirements following the<br />
adoption of the district structure plan, there are a number of items<br />
that should be progressed as a matter of priority. These<br />
investigations include:<br />
• integrated transport strategy for the south west corridor,<br />
including review of the regional road network and public<br />
transport modes and alignment;<br />
• reallocation of the kerbside lane along Hampton Road,<br />
between Rockingham Road and Douro Road;<br />
• groundwater modelling; and<br />
• built form guidelines.<br />
An action implementation framework, detailing priority and<br />
procedural items, is provided in Table 4.1. This list is neither<br />
exclusive or exhaustive, however provides an outline of the strategic<br />
requirements to move Cockburn coast from a structure planning<br />
initiative to a development phase.<br />
