4. Criteria concerned with the practicality of cocservatioc and management
Notwithstanding its fitness to be considered as intenatjocally important
on one of the Criteria set out under :, 2 and 3 above, a wetlacd should
only be desigcated for inclusioc ic the List of the Ramsar Convectjoc if
it:
a) is physically acd admicistratively capable of being effectively
cocserved acd managed;

b) is free from the threat of major impact of external polliitjon,
hydrological interferences acd land use or industrial practices.
c) A wetlacd of catiocal importacce only nay nevertheless be cocsidered of
ictgrcational importacce if it forms a complex wjth another adjacent
wetlard of similar value across ac jctercational border.
